This past weekend, West Virginia and Marshall squared off in the Friends of Coal Bowl. The game pretty much turned out as I expected. The Mountaineers should have won by three touchdowns.
However, as I also expected, Marshall played well enough to make the game much closer than it should have been.
Once again though, the officiating in Morgantown became an issue in the game.
As someone who has attended dozens of football games in Morgantown overt the years, I have to say that I am routinely disturbed by the level of incompetence...
