The wait is over. College football is back, and Week 1 action has already reminded fans why fall is the best time of the year.

The first weekend of action has brought it all: upsets, blowouts, enormous performances and as much drama as a Week 12 slate.

A number of highly-touted freshmen have made an immediate impact, and plenty of familiar faces are back in the spotlight as well.
