Forgive me folks, I'm a die hard 'Bama fan, and I totally bleed Crimson blood. Yet I live in "Tebow-land," Florida.

An article in the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday morning had the headline "THE GREATEST", which started me thinking...who would I consider the greatest of all-time to put on a college jersey and hit the line. 

Of course, I'm partial to 'Bama, but I thought of a few that didn't play at the Capstone, and I just wondered what you folks thought about who was the best of all-time. 

My vote goes to Jim Thorpe...even though it was like, what, 50 years ago he played. Or maybe even Red Grange...when men were men, helmets were made of leather, and shoulder pads were nonexistent.
