When the opening kickoff sails through the air Sept. 5 at Peden Stadium on the campus of the University of Ohio, more than a new season will be underway for the UConn Huskies.
A new era of offensive football will begin as well.
Offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead's vision of up-tempo football, with no huddle and multiple formations mixed in, will replace the often bland "three yards and a cloud of dust" philosophy that has been the norm for the last few years.
Granted, that strategy had it's moments.
