Regardless of how erroneous they may turn out, pre-season top 25 rankings are a commanding topic of debate every August. After years of studying the game of college football, I have come to realize that the any set of rankings prior to the month of October are irrelevant as they only cloud the judgment of the computers and media with votes that decide who plays in which bowl game. With that said, it would be negligent of myself to not present my own set of pre-season rankings. They come with a twist though.
