As expected, the Hokies were dominant in their 36-9 drubbing of Maryland Saturday in College Park.
Tech held the advantage in almost every category, including total yards, outgaining the Terrapins 484-236.
Admittedly, Maryland is having an awful season, and they’ve struggled to find much of anything to hang their hats on. The Terps have been riddled with injuries, and it didn’t get any better on Saturday; they lost two more players against the Hokies.
One positive may have come in the loss, if you can imagine: Maryland might have found a decent option at quarterback.
