USC Loses Grip on Pac-10; Rose Bowl Race in Chaos

For the past seven seasons, USC has either shared or won the Pac-10 title outright. With the Trojans unable to simply reload this year, the Pac-10 title chase is in chaos.

Five teams still have a legitimate shot at making the Rose Bowl this late in the season. So much for the Pac-1 Wac-9!

Going into the season, the Trojans were heavily favored to repeat as champions. They were dealt their first conference blow by a Washington team led by USC’s ex-coordinators.

It was a just a bump in the road, perhaps? After all, the Trojans have notoriously given up a game they were heavily favored in the past couple of years.

Then along came the Oregon Ducks, who simply put ran all over the Trojans defense and embarrassed ...
