USC received the signature of San Mateo Junior College offensive guard Jeremy Galten (6’4”, 290 pounds), as reported by USCFootball.com on Tuesday.

He will enroll Jan. 10 to be eligible for spring football.  He was a sophomore All-Conference guard and has three years to play two at USC.

He selected USC over scholarship offers from Arizona, Nevada, Utah State and several other schools.

He stopped the recruiting process as soon as he received the USC offer.  He can play four of the five positions on the OL.
