In his Thursday morning press conference, Urban Meyer expressed delight in the Tuesday and Wednesday practices.

"We are preparing well," Meyer stated. "Guys are just flying around the field ready to get back and play heartily against Alabama."

When corrected by a reporter that the Florida Gators next game is against Cincinnati, not Alabama, Meyer dropped a news bomb on the room.

"No, our next game is the Alabama do-over. We petitioned the SEC and BCS and made our argument to play 'Bama again. They saw our logic and allowed the rematch."

The University of Florida athletics department produced the half-page document that they submitted to the SEC administrative offices.
