It's hard to forget the catastrophic loss that set in motion Arizona State's tie breaker for the worst losing season in school history. That fatfeul home game vs. UNLV that ended in a massive upset of 23-20. ASU was heavily favored for that game, and the Arizona State football team will not make the assumptions they did before.

For a team that debuted the 2008 season in a national top 20 ranking to lose to such a team as UNLV, was unfathomable. But, it happened. To underestimate an opponent like Louisiana Monroe would be their first mistake. A team that upset Alabama (2007) 21-14. This team is no Idaho State.
