The Truth Is On The Field: Boise State And MWC Welcome To The BCS

I said it numerous times last year, if you're the only team to go undefeated, you're the National Champion. The rule certainly should hold true if there are nearly 120 other teams in your league. Sadly, this is not the truth for the non BCS conferences in college football.

It's time for a change.

After week one, there can be no doubts about the strength of the little guys. Boise State took care of business easily, almost as if Oregon was a WAC team. Utah has already gone undefeated twice and appeared in BCS games, winning both handily.

And now we have BYU, beating Oklahoma at a "neutral site," as if Provo and Norman are equidistant from Dallas.
