The first weekend of the 2009 college football season gave us a few surprises, but could not have been worse for the University of Oklahoma. Not only did the then third-ranked Sooners lose to No. 20 BYU in dramatic fashion, but reigning Heisman Trophy winner went down with a shoulder injury that will force him to miss at least two weeks. Then came the revelation that starting tight end Jermaine Gresham was lost for the season with a knee injury. Fortunately for the Sooners, they can bounce back this week with an easy game against Idaho State. Another game to keep an eye on before we jump into the top 10 games of the week is Purdue at Oregon.
