The first weekend of the 2009 college football season gave us a few surprises, but could not have been worse for the University of Oklahoma. Not only did the then third-ranked Sooners lose to No. 20 BYU in dramatic fashion, but reigning Heisman Trophy winner went down with a shoulder injury that will force him to miss at least two weeks. Then came the revelation that starting tight end Jermaine Gresham was lost for the season with a knee injury.
