It was a day of reckoning. Some of the teams escaped while others fell victim to eerily similar fates.

An overthrown pass by Kirk Cousins, the quarterback from Michigan State, saved Charlie Weis's job at Notre Dame.

Another pick by Kyle McCarthy helped. I would say that you can't count on it all year but he has three picks in three games.

Texas and Florida both took revenge games. Texas had a literal revenge game since it was Texas Tech that started the quagmire that took the Longhorns out of the championship game they belonged in last year.

Florida has won five straight over Tennessee so this was revenge from what Lane Kiffin said about Florida and Urban Meyer in the offseason. The game was not as c...
