The first weekend of the College Football Season started with the match-up of two top 20 teams in Boise, Idaho.  The WAC beat the PAC-10 in a lack luster game.  Oregon's LaGarrette Blount nullified the opening handshake with a post-game meltdown that included a YouTube friendly punch. 

Oregon coach Chip Kelly made the right choice by suspending his best running back for the rest of the season. 

The lesson here is if you are going to sucker punch anyone don't let ESPN camera's catch you doing it. 

That was not the biggest story of the weekend, which happened in Dallas, Texas.
