The Texas Longhorns dominated the second half of the 2012 Valero Alamo Bowl to take down the Oregon State Beavers, 31-27, in San Antonio Saturday night.
The Longhorns came back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit in what was truly a tale of two halves, and did not hold a lead in this game until there was just over two minutes remaining.
The two teams traded field goals to start off the scoring and the Beavers received the first touchdown of the game on a carry by Storm Woods, who was the star of the first half, as the Beavers relied almost exclusively on the run to control the game.
