According to several sources, former Texas Longhorns wide receivers coach Bobby Kennedy has accepted the same position with the Colorado Buffaloes to be a part of newly-hired coach Jon Embree's first staff.

Kennedy, a native of Boulder, spent a total of seven years under Mack Brown at Texas and reportedly was waiting on an opportunity to return to his home state.

Kennedy brings 20 total years of coaching experience to Colorado, and his ties to Texas recruiting hotbeds could make the Buffaloes a player in the state once again.
