Easy non-conference games are a plus for big-name college football programs, putting some easy wins up on the board before hitting conference play. But should these cupcake games be scheduled if these certain teams are being included in the BCS mix?

While these teams may have tough conference games, if they truly plan on being at the top of the college football world, they need to ditch the cupcake non-conference schedule.

Then there are the programs that are ranked in the top 25, but play in mediocre non-BCS conferences, and play one or two real games a season.
