Show Me, State: Northwest Missouri State Further Proves Its MIAA Might with Win

Seventh-ranked Northwest Missouri State led 20-0 after the first quarter and rolled to a 30-10 win against fourth-ranked Pittsburg State Saturday in the Fall Classic at Arrowhead Stadium VIII. It was the 29th straight MIAA win for the Bearcats, who’ve won six straight against the Gorillas.

The win pushed the Wildcats to sixth-ranked in the the new poll while Pittsburg State fell to 11th.

Blake Bolles led his team with 193 yards passing and 2 touchdowns.

LaRon Council had 99 yards rushing and 32 yards recieving for the night.

The Wildcat defense intercepted Pittsburg State QB John McCoy three times for the game with two being in the first quarter.
