SEC Football: Undoubtedly College Football’s Best Conference

The 2011 BCS National Championship Game may not have lived up to expectations, but the Southeastern Conference did.

With Auburn’s 22-19 victory over Oregon, the Tigers won their first BCS championship and the fifth straight for the conference.

Since the BCS was introduced not so long ago, the SEC has been a dominant, almost unstoppable, force. With five championships in five years, the SEC can truly say that they are the best and most dominant conference in the NCAA.

The SEC has beat teams from the Big Ten, Pac-10 and Big 12. With the exception of last night’s game, every win has been by at least 10 points.
