Some fans may not know the Wolverines spend the night before a big game in hotel rooms. In fact, all teams do.

Well, that may soon change at the NCAA Convention next January. The Pac-10 conference has proposed to ban the practice in order to cut down on costs for athletic programs.

While the issue will be up for a vote, Coach Rodriguez let it be known that he does not support the move.

"For us in particular, we have so many guys that live off campus in different parts of town that we need to get them together on a Friday night," Rodriguez said.
