Rocky Mountain Showdown Will Go Through 2020, Would Be Better As Last Game

Today, Colorado State and the University of Colorado (Colorado Buffaloes Examiner) announced they will continue their Rocky Mountain Showdown will continue for another decade, at least.

This year, the game takes place in Boulder, but it was played from 1998-2008 in Denver at Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium, the usual home of the NFL’s Broncos.

But, for the next nine years of the series, the game will be back at “home” in Denver, as both schools see the pro-venue a win-win situation.
