Rice senior running back Luke Turner may have played his final game in an Owls uniform Saturday, and judging by his postgame press conference, it's clear that closing this chapter of his life is tough on him.

Turner ran for 54 yards, added four receiving yards and even threw for four yards (and a touchdown) in a 27-7 victory over Charlotte. After the game, the 22-year-old had to battle through tears as he spoke to the media.

Given that there aren't enough teams to fill every bowl slot, there is still a chance Rice (5-7) could get a bowl bid. There's no doubt Turner would appreciate getting to play ...
