In what most people figured would be a blowout, the Red Raiders offense struggled to maintain long drives, while the defense had to work harder than usual to put down the uprising from the Sioux offense in their 38-13 victory Saturday night

While Taylor Potts became only the second Mike Leach-era quarterback to throw for over 400 yards in his starting debut, he also became the first one to throw three interceptions in a debut. The running game managed a meager 40 yards on 19 carries, while the defense committed four penalties for 48 yards, helping UND score 10 of their 13 points.
