Rain flowed through Stillwater, Oklahoma the week following the biggest season opening win in Oklahoma State's history. 

The hype and promise floating through the university streets were exceptional. The Cowboys had appeared for a second time on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The Cowboys powered through the SEC's no. 13 Georgia Bulldogs at the their own game. With a convincing win, 24-10, the Cowboys launched themselves into national title conversations around the country. 

The Cowboys flew to number five in the AP Polls for the first since 1987. Even though the offense struggled against Georgia, it wasn't like the Cowboys weren't used to season opening offensive struggles.
