  • Hard to tell whether the Broncos were that good or if the Ducks were really that bad.
  • I could tell Chip Kelly has never been a head coach before. Poor play-calling. Bad decisions. No adjustments.
  • A hand-off from the shotgun in the end zone? And again on 4th and 2?
  • Credit Oregon for scheduling such a tough out-of-conference match-up. Very few teams would be willing to travel to Boise. Especially to open the season. Also credit them for scheduling Purdue and Utah as well.
  • The Boise defense looked terrific. The offense looked awkwardly committed to running the ball and maintaining balance. It worked.
