Penn State Football 2009: Week Three Recap

Again, no surprises in Happy Valley.

Penn State was able to put up 31 on Temple and take a 31-6 victory. I still feel we could have scored more, but the running game greatly improved, as I was stressing after seeing the Akron and Syracuse games.

Time to break it all down.

My Player of the Game: HB Evan Royster: 19 carries, 134 yards, TD, 7.1 YPC

Game Scoring Summary

Penn State completes TD pass from Clark to TE Mickey Shuler. But Temple would make a FG to make the score only 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, PSU saw more ball-control.

With a seven yard TD run by Royster and a Derek Moye TD reception, PSU was up 21-3 by the half.<...
