During the 2009 football season, the Nebraska Huskers encountered many a bump in the road on their way to the Big 12 Championship game and their Holiday Bowl win over Arizona. There was the last minute fourth quarter collapse against Virginia Tech, followed by the 27 point fourth quarter triumph over Missouri. There was the humbling loss at home to Texas Tech, followed by the seriously numbing defeat by Iowa State. The Huskers then held on against Kansas State and Oklahoma to right the ship and give Texas and Arizona everything they wanted, and then some, in the Big 12 Championship game and Holiday Bowl.
