N.D. Stands For Not Dumb: Why Bob Stoops Won’t Coach the Irish

In no specific order USC, Texas, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma.  That's it.  Those are the big dogs in college football. 

Note: Notre Dame is not on that list.

Disagree?  Then please enlighten me.

In his 12th season at OU Stoops is 115-29 and 4-6 in bowl games. He has the third best regular season winning percentage from 2000-2008 (1. Boise State, 2. Texas). He has coached three Heisman trophy winners, and played in the most BCS National Championship games. 

So why?  Why look for a greener pasture?
