As the Michigan winter lulls us into thinking that it is time for warm weather, flowers and budding trees before hitting the state with one last blast of wintry goodness the Michigan State football team is strapping on the pads again and getting to work.

Last season ended in disappointment for the Spartans, falling to the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Alamo Bowl amid scandals and suspensions. 

Michigan State must have welcomed the off season with open arms, embracing the opportunity to escape the constant barrage of questions regarding their teammates indiscretions.
