Another log on the fire : Michigan didn't keep work out logs for a period of time in 2008. Some of the mis-information floating around is that these were mandatory, which is un-true. These logs are one way that Michigan tracks compliance internally. It is not an NCAA mandate.

I think the bottom line is, if Michigan had these logs the entire "Work Out Gate" would have been avoided but now Michigan needs to show more proof they didn't overwork their players.
