It may be true, but there is much more at stake for the Hurricanes.

First, injuries always happen when you are not giving 100 percent.  If you just play through the motions you have a much higher chance of getting hurt.

One thing Miami can not afford are injuries, especially in the offensive line and at quarterback.

Jacory Harris was hurt for a lot of the season last year and it showed in every game.It seemed as though he was off on many of his passes the second half of the season.
