Melvin Gordon Injury: Wisconsin RB Hurts Left Knee vs. Ohio State

Not only did the Wisconsin Badgers struggle to keep up with the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday night, but star running back Melvin Gordon went down with a knee injury. 

Ralph D. Russo of the Associated Press has the details:

 

Gordon's value to the team was on display in a limited role on the field against the Buckeyes. He took his 15 carries for 74 yards for an average of 4.9 yards per carry while the Badgers tried to close the gap with Ohio State through the air.

Gordon has emerged as a dark horse Heisman candidate early on for the Badgers. He had 624 yards rushing and seven touchdowns coming...
