Mauling by Bears an Indication of Things to Come for Terps

It was ugly. Very ugly.

Not a single Terps fan could have fully expected Saturday night's 13-52 debacle at Berkeley. However, I cannot help but note that, at least on paper, everything went as predicted for the team.

Nobody fell short of expectation. Everybody played as predicted.

Da'Rel Scott averaged seven yards per carry and was the clear go-to option in Friedgen's offense. Chris turner was 17 for 30 and avoided throwing an interception. The receiving corps failed to produce a clear number-one option and the inexperienced offensive line gave up six sacks.

Most notably, the defense proved to be in dire need of more practice with their new scheme and new coordinator Don Brown.

Nobody needed a crystal ...
