MarQueis Gray: The Golden Gophers Version Of Michael Vick

When MarQuies Gray committed to Minnesota last year, many saw him as the future of the Gophers team. The four-star prosepct (by Rivals.com) out of Indiana seemed destined to be a part of the team last year, but his campaign to join in 2008 ended prematurly due to academic issues.

Fortunately, he was able to get his academics settled out and now has begun 2009 as a freshmen. Although, unlike last year facing the likely nature of him being red-shirted, Gray is being featured as an asset that could potentially be compared to that of the Philladelphia Eagles with Donavon McNabb being played by Adam Weber and Michael Vick being played by MarQueis Gray.
