While Kentucky had a crushing win over Miami (OH) this past Saturday, they did not escape the game without receiving a few injuries, some big, and some not.
According to Coach Brooks, center Marcus Davis, a junior, will miss the rest of the season due to a dislocated ankle. The Coach was optimistic that Davis could play in a bowl game in January. While this is a blow due to his playing experience, Kentucky has a very reliable backup and sees no problems in future games.
Linebacker Danny Trevathan, who played in a cast Saturday, will have a pin put in his wrist to stabalize a fracture, but will miss no playing time and will continue to wear a cast over his hand and lower arm.
