Kelvin Grady, former Michigan basketball player turned slot receiver, has been making quite an impression on Michigan coaches during the summer practice.

Coach Rich Rodriguez (who usually isn't one to dish out the compliments too early) had positive things to say.

"We've only been one day in half pads, but what I've seen in three days, Kelvin Grady is going to play for us this year," Rodriguez said. "He's a very quick learner, very coachable, he's got ball skills and I think we've got a position that fits him perfectly in that slot."

"Just judged on three days worth, and I hate to say too much, but he's going to help this football team," Rodriguez finished.
