I have a confession to make. 

I didn't vote for Miami in Bleacher Report's initial Top 25. 

Or the next Top 25 either.

This week, that ends. Some of you may be asking yourselves why a self professed Miami Hurricanes fan and featured columnist would omit their beloved team, well, it's because I'm a fan that I didn't vote for them.

There are two reasons.

One, I'm ridiculously superstitious. The last few times the Hurricanes have jumped into the top 25 after a big game, they lost the very next game. Jinxes are real people. They're as real as lucky socks and baseball bats.
