Jeremiah Masoli's bid to play in 2010 for the Mississippi Rebels has been denied by the NCAA.

Masoli was hoping to take advantage of an NCAA rule that sometimes allows student-athletes to be immediately eligible upon transfer if they are entering a graduate program not offered by their previous school. 

He was forced to leave Oregon after several run-ins with the law and is now enrolled in Mississippi's Parks and Recreation graduate program.
