The Notre Dame Fighting Irish opened their season with a convincing 28-6 win over the Temple Owls on Saturday.

Senior quarterback Tommy Rees has reclaimed the starting job for the Irish and put on an impressive showing against the Owls.

Rees completed 16-of-23 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns. Is he that good? Or was his performance the result of a weak Temple defense?
