One of the most overrated statistics in football is straight speed.

Rarely is any player in a position to need to simply outrun another player as if they were on a track.

Yet speed might be one of the the most important attribute to the players.

That's what makes quarterback Denard Robinson's arrival so exciting.

After zipping by the Florida track season last spring in the 100-meter dash, Robinson arrived at U-M with a heck of a reputation. But he hasn't raced for the sprint title yet.
