Indiana Hoosiers Survive a Scare, Beat EKU 19-13

On a night when they should have had their way, Indiana looked at times like a team that was not ready for the season to begin.

However, they still made a number of big plays, on both sides of the ball to ensure victory.

IU had a solid first half, but a very poor second half, with many turnovers and three-and-outs, as well as not being able to stop EKU on third-down situations

As we saw last year, not making stops on third down is critical to winning games, and the longer your defense is on the field, the less of a chance you have to score.

IU quarterback Ben Chappell didn't look comfortable yet as a starter, even though this was his chance to shine.

He did throw for an impressive 326 yards on 27-of-36...
