Hokies Open Camp With Some Interesting Developments

Virginia Tech opened summer practice today, and there have been some interesting developments.

According to hokiesports.com, Logan Thomas is taking snaps at quarterback, where the Hokies plan on using him.

There had been talk about Thomas being utilized in the "Wild Turkey" formation, but it was thought he would be used in the formation as a tight end, like Greg Boone. Thomas, like Boone, played quarterback in high school. He had success, throwing for over 1,500 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also ran for over 800 yards and 11 touchdowns, while recording 80 tackles and four interceptions on defense. 

By the way, Thomas achieved all of this in his senior season.
