Grading The Iowa Hawkeyes’ Units in 2009

While 2008 was all about rebuilding Iowa's typical strong points, 2009 will be about improving those strong points and turning them back into some of the best units in the nation. There are virtually no weak spots for the Hawkeyes this season, and they look fairly set at the places where they lost some good players. All and all, this looks like a solid team all around in 2009.

Offensive Line

The offensive line is the strongest unit on a solid Iowa team, and by far the strongest line in the Big Ten. One of the strongest in the country, both ESPN and Phil Steele rank this group in the top five nationally.
