Former Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel was waived by the Washinton Redskins on Saturday, putting an end to his quest to become the team's No. 3 quarterback.

But he wasn't the only notable casualty of NFL roster cuts, which mandated that teams trim rosters to 53 players by 4 p.m. Saturday.
