Florida’s Carlos Dunlap Arrested for DUI Days Before SEC Title Showdown

Florida star defensive end Carlos Dunlap was arrested and charged with drunken driving early Tuesday morning in Gainesville. Dunlap is a projected first-round NFL draft pick and is currently the Gators' sack leader on defense. 

Early reports suggest Dunlap was found passed out behind the wheel of his car at a Gainesville intersection, failed field sobriety tests once awakened, and refused a breathalyzer. Dunlap was later released on his own recognizance.

One figures Dunlap will certainly be suspended for Saturday's SEC title game in Atlanta, especially after the heat Florida coach Urban Meyer received in the offseason over numerous disciplinary issues concerning his players.
