Five Things Georgia Fans Can Take from the Victory over Arizona State

Once again Georgia was involved in a close game, and once again the Dawgs were able to come out with a victory.

Georgia (3-1, 2-0 in the SEC) and coach Mark Richt continued their dominance against non-conference opponents, running their record to 35-4.

This week the Dawgs welcome No. 4 LSU to town for another SEC showdown between the hedges.

But what can we take from the Arizona State victory?

 

1. The Georgia Defense Returned To Form

The defense finally woke up after a two-week coma. The Georgia defense only gave up 88 yards rushing on 28 carries, but the biggest improvement was in the pass defense.
