The Oregon Ducks named Dakota Prukop as their starting quarterback for the 2016 season when they released their Week 1 depth chart Friday:

Most fans saw true freshman Justin Herbert, who was tabbed as the backup, as the only threat to Prukop's job.

Prukop joined the Ducks in January after transferring from Montana State of the FCS' Big Sky Conference, where he recorded 7,347 yards of total offense in his career, the fourth-most in school history.
