Connecticut Huskies: Thinking Outside The Box

The latest news that players, one being quarterback Cody Endres, have an apparent illness going around leaves UConn in a precarious position.  Going into Baylor's home opener the Huskies may turn to true freshman Mike Box.

Two big college football programs have turned to true freshman this year.  USC has started Matt Barkley and won a big game on the road at Ohio State.  Michigan has done the same with Tate Forcier and is coming off an impressive win at home against a talented Notre Dame. 

Maybe this is exactly what the Huskies need.

With starter Zach Frazier out with an undisclosed knee injury and now backup Cody Endres sick, this could be 19-year-old Mike Box's chance to show what he has to...
