The Horned Frogs of Texas Christian have not spent a great amount of time this season croaking up the wrong tree.

They have gone out and put away the opposition, usually leaving no doubt who is the best team on the field that day. Case in point would be the 55-28 destruction of defending Mountain West and Sugar Bowl Champion Utah on Saturday evening.

Going into the encounter with TCU, the Utes had only lost once in the past two seasons, earlier this year at powerful Oregon by a score of 31-24.

It was about that close against TCU, for about 10 minutes.

The road is clearing for the Horned frogs to make the BCS Title game, all they need is a little luck in the next few weeks. And if the Purple People Eater...
