College Football Heisman Race: Week Three

Each week, I'll break down who I think are the top 10 contenders for the Heisman and let you know who may have fallen out of contention. There was a lot of moving and shaking after Week One, so let's get to it. (Previous ranking in parenthesis)

 

1. (3) Jahvid Best—RB, California

When you score every TD for your team in a win, it's hard to argue that you are not carrying them to victory.

Best put up 131 yards and five TD's to help Cal pull away from Minnesota. On the year he has 413 yards, nine touchdowns and an average of 7.8 yards per carry in three games.
